Learning About Purposive Communication

What I have learned in Purposive Communication is that this subject taught me how to effectively communicate with other people.  I learned what communication is and how the communication exist in other country. Also, I learned that communication has a process,a process of listening, speaking, reading and writing. In which the macro skills holds with it. However,I  found out in this subject that speaking and writing is under productive skills, that this skills are the one who send a messages or the one who produce information. While listening and reading,on the other hand is under receptive skills. This skills is the one who receive a messages. In addition, communication has 8 components and different kinds of principle of communication though we focus only on the principles of communication  by Michael Osburn 2019 which states in his theory that there is only principles of communication.
This subject also educated me about the ethical communication which helps me to become a better  and effective communicator with the heart. I also learned about communication in Globalization. That globalization serves us a bridge that connects people all over the world in that way we can achieve the so called 'unity',between each country.

Purposive Communication doesn't just help me to enhance my communication skills it also motivates me to understand other people, even harder, despites of language barriers that we have.

The very moment we conduct an interview, to this subject, with people who have a different culture, beliefs and languages. I feel so grateful in a way that it really inspires me because despite of our differences we still manage to understand each other and I realized that language barrier is not that problem, its a matter of willingness to learn  each others languages, beliefs, and etc.

All in all, purposive communication makes me realized that in our life we must communicate to other people with a purpose. Something will help you and other people grow as a better individual. It is not just important to our course rather it is important for everybody else as well since all of us need to communicate in order to understand and to be understood.
